Although these offers can seem enticing, DSO partnership agreements often contain provisions that chain associates to the practice by making it very difficult for them to leave from both a legal and business standpoint. The Amigos discuss these provisions as well as how it can be difficult to determine exactly how much money an associate would make from the prospective partnership. They then discuss why it’s critically important to identify an exit strategy prior to signing a DSO partnership contract.
