Great opportunity for paralegal desiring responsibility and opportunity for growth in a rapidly growing niche legal practice! Boutique law firm focused on representing dentists and veterinarians in a full range of business matters seeks a highly motivated entry level, full-time (40 hours/week, Monday – Friday) paralegal for its Philadelphia office.  Duties and responsibilities include, among other things:

•  Assisting with initial client engagement and onboarding including participation in initial intake calls, preparation and collection of engagement letters, and direct communication with clients regarding any initial questions and concerns.

•  Collecting, organizing and maintaining material information (including deal terms and contact information for relevant parties) in connection with client transactions.

•  Tracking the status of ongoing client matters and collaborating directly with attorneys to ensure that all relevant deadlines are timely satisfied.

•  Collaborating with supervising attorneys and clients to perform due diligence including the collection and evaluation of due diligence materials in connection with business and real estate transactions.

•  Supporting attorneys in connection with the closing of transactions including the preparation of exhibits and schedules as well as the coordination of other logistical matters.

•  Acting as a liaison between attorneys and various third parties including insurance providers, lenders and brokers.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who exhibits strong organizational and communication skills, professionalism and a positive attitude.  This paralegal will work independently and as a key member of the legal team, working closely with the attorneys in the office as well as clients and other third parties. The position includes significant opportunity for growth for an individual who is eager to learn and willing to take on additional roles within the law firm.

Candidates must possess strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills; a positive attitude; a strong work ethic; excellent communication skills; strong organizational skills; top quality work product; attention to detail; the ability to work efficiently and independently as well as the ability to work cooperatively as valued team member; the ability to prioritize workflow, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.  A Bachelor’s degree is required.
