Robert concentrates his legal practice on representing dental and healthcare professionals and assisting them with transactional aspects of the law, including buying and selling practices, equity by-ins, employment and independent contractor agreements, joint ventures and complex partnership arrangements, and the formation of professional entities. Robert has worked exclusively with dentists and healthcare professionals for nearly a decade. This has allowed him to develop highly detailed knowledge of the dental and healthcare professions, fine-tune his understanding of the needs of dental and healthcare professionals and develop strategies to engage his clients’ needs in order to achieve desired outcomes.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Robert was a nurse for 15 years and practiced in various areas of the healthcare industry ranging from ICU/CCU and orthopedic trauma to large medical offices. For part of his healthcare career, he even worked as an Alzheimer’s educator in a large Alzheimer-dementia unit. This has given Robert personal knowledge of the inner workings of the healthcare world and a unique perspective of the challenges faced by healthcare providers.
Robert attended law school at Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. He lives in Nyack, New York with his husband and dog, Jethro. They enjoy boating on the Hudson River, dining out and traveling to warmer destinations.
