With more than 17 years of experience as in-house counsel to a diversified Pennsylvania real estate developer, as a small business owner, and as a transactional attorney in a business firm serving individuals and private companies in a multi-regional practice, David focuses his practice on real estate transactions and brings significant practical legal and business knowledge to his work with clients.
David’s real estate experience includes managing numerous residential, commercial and industrial land development projects. His work has included drafting and negotiating leases, approval documentation, purchase and sale agreements, construction agreements, easements and financing arrangements. He has a wealth of experience with hundreds of leasing transactions for retail, industrial and office space, representing both landlords and tenants, with clients ranging from local business owners to a multi-regional office space operator. David understands the zoning and land development process well and has successfully navigated an array of zoning board hearings over his legal career. He also has considerable experience handling real estate tax appeals.
David is from eastern Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. He attended Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York for his undergraduate degree, graduating cum laude, and attended Suffolk University Law School in Boston for his law degree before settling back in the Philadelphia area. David currently lives in Lower Gwynedd, Pennsylvania with his wife, two children and his mini Labradoodle, Teddi.
David played drums in the three-piece band “Dratch,” which sadly never played outside of their rehearsal space, and is an avid music fan who enjoys attending live music events. David also played hockey and is looking forward to the day the Flyers can once again hoist the Stanley Cup.
