April concentrates her practice on advising dental and veterinary clients on the formation of business entities, practice acquisitions and sales, the review and preparation of employment agreements, the preparation of employee handbook policies, and real estate sales and acquisitions. April also advises dental and veterinary clients as to general and corporate matters, such as corporate compliance; federal, state, and local employment law compliance; zoning compliance; and regulatory compliance with state-specific dental and veterinary laws and rules. April practices primarily out of the firm’s Philadelphia office.
April is a graduate of Temple University, James E. Beasley School of Law where she was staff editor of Temple Law Review.
April was born in Manila, Philippines and grew up in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania. In her free time, April loves experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. April has an English Bulldog named Maggie, who is named after Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and Princess Margaret.
April is a member of the Alumni Society of the University of Scranton and prioritizes the Jesuit motto of serving as a “woman for others”; in pursuit of that motto, April enjoys charitable work and has organized a successful purse drive to benefit local Philadelphia women’s shelters and actively participates in service projects organized by the University’s Philadelphia Chapter of the Alumni Society.
